We’ve stayed in Breckenridge many times, and we really love the Highlands neighborhood for that genuine mountain feel. Many cabin options are in this upscale neighborhood, with others around Breckenridge.

Blue River is another beautiful area with many cabin options.

Here are plenty of cabin rentals in Breckenridge that will fit the whole family comfortably and keep that rustic mountain feel. None are too far from town, giving you a great location as well as some peace and serenity among the trees.

Here, we have found some really amazing cabins for that perfect cabin-in-the-woods family getaway. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Breckenridge, Colorado, take a look!

1. Luxury Cabin in the Woods in Blue River

This beautiful cabin is open, with tall ceilings on the main floor that are accompanied by massive windows. A loft area or large, covered deck is perfect to relax, and the finished basement is perfect for the kids to all have some space. Your car will be comfortable, too, in the heated garage.

This cabin sleeps up to 10 across 3 bedrooms, a loft, and a set of bunks in the finished basement.

The setting and scenery here is perfect for a summer or winter day. This property is farther from Breckenridge (but not too far!) in Blue River. As such, the property has direct access to the National Forest and to Blue River. If you don’t feel like driving, you can catch the free shuttle at the beginning of the neighborhood to head into Breckenridge.

2. Luxe Log Cabin in Breckenridge – Wheelchair accessible

This incredible Cabin is only 2 miles from Main Street. It’s just under 3,000 square feet and has 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms; plenty of space for everyone! It can sleep up to 8 adults (plus children) with its two master-bedrooms.

The family room boasts a large TV, and is adjacent to the perfect area for billiards, darts, and bar. The best part of the luxurious deck may be the hot tub…or the grill…no, it has to be the amazing views. You’ll have everything you need at this beautiful cabin in Breckenridge.

3. Quintessential Cabin in the Woods- Blue River

This picture-perfect log cabin is everything I imagine a log cabin to be. Located outside of Breckenridge in Blue River, the log beams are obvious on the outside and inside of the home. With beautiful log beams and high beamed ceilings, you’ll feel oh-so-cozy in this spacious cabin.

This amazing cabin has 2 bedrooms plus a loft-master-bedroom area for sleeping, making it perfect for up to 8 people. Spend the day skiing nearby, or spend a perfect day sledding right on the property and finish off with a soak in the hot tub.

4. Mountain Home with Space for a Large Group

This mountain home is a more modern take on mountain cabins, but I wanted to include it for it you have a larger group going that all wants to stay together.

With over 5,000 square feet of space, you’ll get 5 bedrooms that can sleep up to 13 in beds (plus a crib for the baby)!

Large groups will appreciate the convenience of 2 dishwashers in the main kitchen. The leaders of the group will get a main-floor master with a fireplace.

Groups and kids will all love the billiards and foosball table in the finished basement.

5. Home in the Woods with Hot Tub

This rental home may be less rustic, but has some cabin vibes on the interior. Guests will enjoy large windows with great, pine- and mountain-filled views.

Enjoy the peaceful deck outside as you look to distant mountain peaks.

You can sleep 10 across 4 bedrooms with 8 beds, plus two more beds (check with host to add more people into these beds!)

Oh, plus there’s a private hot tub just outside the door.

6. Upscale Cabin with Hot Tub

I’ve tried to include some cabins with hot tubs in Breckenridge, and this is another of them. This beautiful cabin can sleep 10 in 4 bedrooms. Your car also gets its own space in the available garage.

You and yours will have a luxurious 5-piece bathroom with a steam shower. The kids can choose from many bunks or a queen bed.

The best part, beyond the upscale feel, is the large deck with incredible views. You’ll definitely get cabin vibes from the exposed logs that run through the home.

7. Spacious “Treehouse” Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub

This Breckenridge cabin rental gives cabin feels all over the house. From the exterior logs to interior lumber throughout the main areas, with wooden log beams in some rooms, you’ll really feel like you’ve found that perfect mountain cabin.
