3. The Bellagio– nicer family hotel in Las Vegas

Starting at $140

The Bellagio is well known for its fountain show that performs every day. Seen at the end of the famous Ocean’s 11, these fountains are set to music and lights, creating a fun and mesmerizing experience for all ages. Its other popular site is the display of colorful glass hung on the ceiling. This is a gorgeous piece of art to walk through that the kids will love.

The glass is done by artist Dale Chihuly. You can see more of his work around the world, though the Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle is one of the more popular places to see it.

What makes this one of the best family hotels in Las Vegas? I’ll start with the pool. The pool here is huge, and beautiful. Actually, there are 4 outdoor pools, as well has a few hot tub/spas.

Hungry? Though there are almost 4,000 guestrooms, there are also 17 different restaurants to choose from. Whatever you feel like eating that day, you can find it at The Bellagio.

They even have a double-queen suite that can sleep up to 5 people, helping many families stay together in one unit.

Kids will love the little arcade, located a little behind the casino area. It’s smaller, but gives the kids a chance to get in on fun games that are kid-friendly.

Best of all, the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden is a free, 14,000 square foot attraction that you can walk through. Filled with plants and lots of color, this is a great attraction for kids in Las Vegas.

The New York New York is a really exciting family hotel in Las Vegas. There is entertainment galore for all ages. To start, check out the Big Apple Coaster, available to anyone over 54″. This coaster goes almost 70 mph and has a 203 foot drop, perfect for any thrill seeker.

Need something for younger ones? Try the Big Apple Arcade. Full of fun for all ages, this arcade has all the typical arcade games (including skee-ball, my kids’ favorite).

Another great family-friendly things about New York New York is that it features shows that are family-friendly. For example, right now (year 2022) they are featuring a puppet and ventriloquy show which is listed as family-friendly.

It has the basic fun amenities as most hotels as well, such as a large beautiful pool and over 15 restaurants.

Top Family Hotels in Las Vegas

That’s the list! Did you find one that looks exciting? I’ll make a note before I say goodbye… I know Circus Circus is well known as one of the great family hotels in Las Vegas. However, during my research, I heard/saw/noted a few red flags where staying here was not recommended. Circus Circus is fun during the day, but was repeatedly noted as not being in the best part of town, and is a bit (a lot) more run down than in days past. That said, I know people who stayed here and thought it was fine! Do some research to see what is the best fit for your family. And Viva Las Vegas!

  1. This is a great list. I’ve stayed in Vegan so many times, but never at The Orleans. And, I’ve never brought my kids so my hubby and I have been wondering where the heck we’d stay if we decide to bring them lol! We loved the Excalibur pre kids so maybe we’ll try that one again. Can’t beat that price either!

  2. This is great! I will certainly pin for later! I never thought to take my kids to Vegas but now I think it would be great fun! Thank you!

  3. I would have never thought to take the kids to Vegas. I always told my son I would take him for his 21st birthday. That didn’t work out, but we did take all three to Atlantic City when they turned 21. They had a blast!

  4. These hotels look like so much fun! Las Vegas is not what I’d typically think of for kids, but it seems like these would be great options.

  5. Loved Vegas when Hubby and I went. Can’t wait til the kids are a bit older and we take them as well. Our fave was New York, New York, but would love to stay in some of the more luxury hotels!

  6. LV is such a fun city, and I can see why it can also be considered family friendly. So much to see and do for them to be kept occupied! Great recommendations of those hotels that would be better suited to families too.

  7. Admittedly I never thought of Vegas as a family place until I went for the first time and discovered all kinds of fun things to do with kids! I also can’t believe how insanely inexpensive the rooms are. I can’t wait to go back next year for my brother’s birthday – I’d love to stay at the Bellagio this time!

  8. What a great list of family hotels in Las Vegas! We venture to the area quite often and love the Flamingo! Our goal is to stay at the Bellagio!
