A unique and seemingly random site, the Seven Magic Mountains is a fun, colorful stop near Las Vegas. Experience 7 brightly colored, boulder stacked formations. This art installation was created by Ugo Rondinone, a Swiss artist, and was installed near Jean Dry Lake and I-15. It’s a roadside attraction that everyone can enjoy! FREE to visit.

2. Container Park – Free things to do in Las Vegas with kids

This may be the most unique mall you’ve ever visited! The Container Park is a mall area made of almost 90 shipping containers and/or cubes. It’s filled with shops, restaurants, and a fun interactive park. Plus, there’s plenty of shows and music to enjoy while you walk around, or sit down and relax with some food.
3. Springs Preserve – Things to do in Vegas with Kids
333 S Valley View Blvd, Las Vegas
The Springs Preserve is a little bit of everything, which makes it a great thing to do in Las Vegas with kids. Enjoy some of the nature trails, experience the gardens, head to a museum, or interact at one of the current exhibitions. Learn a little Las Vegas history in Boomtown, or take the train to experience more while relaxing!

4. Pinball Hall of Fame Museum – Vegas with Kids
4925 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas
This family friendly activity is Las Vegas is something the whole family will enjoy. Head to the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum to reminisce on pinball machines that cover 40 years of the past. And, you can actually play them! Every kid and adult will find something they want to play in this 25,000 square foot building filled with pinball machines. Bonus: The Pinball Hall of Fame Museum is a non-profit, so all the money earned gets donated to charity.

5. Red Rock Canyon – hiking in Vegas with kids
1000 Scenic Loop Dr, Las Vegas
Get the family out in nature a little more with a visit to Red Rock Canyon. Red Rock Canyon is a National Conservation Area, and is full of plants and geological formations. You can drive the 13-miles through and simply stop at the overlooks, or get out and hike a little. For a hike just over 2 miles, try either the Calico Tanks Trail or Ice Box Canyon Trail.

6. Neon Museum in Vegas

The Neon Museum is recommended for older kids (specifically, 10 and up in the day and 12 and up at night.) This is because it could be a little hazardous to wandering hands with broken glass and such. Once you’re there, you can enjoy all sorts of light and sound displays. There are a couple waterparks to choose from in (and near) Las Vegas.
Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas

Wet’n’Wild is open seasonally. You’ll find a kids play structure for the little ones, waterslides to race each other on, a wave pool, tube slides, a lazy river, a children’s area, and more! There’s plenty to do to spend a day at Wet’n’Wild. Purchase tickets here

Paradise water park is a lot smaller than Wet’n’Wild. If you want something a little more relaxing, but with a slide for the kids, then you can relax here. Think of it more as a community pool area.
8. Indulge at the M&Ms Store – kid-friendly things to do in Vegas

As one of only 5 M&Ms Stores in the world (and the original one!), this makes one of the perfect family-friendly things to do in Las Vegas! Kids will love designing their own M&M. 9. High Roller Wheel
Jump into one of the secure compartments and take a ride around the High Roller Wheel in Las Vegas. At 550 feet at the top, you’ll be able to see and enjoy all the lights and sights of Vegas from above. The ride lasts about 30 minutes, and ticket prices fluctuate based on demand, time, and age. 10. Zipline over the Linq Promenade
Go as a family, as this zipline can seat 10 people next to each other. Experience Vegas over 1,080 feet high. You’ll start at 12 stories high and make your way toward the High Roller Wheel, getting to speeds of 35 miles per hour. Height and weight limits apply. Get tickets here.
11. The Museum of Selfies
Selfie museums are becoming a trend across America. You can visit one on your family vacation to Las Vegas! 15. Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef Aquarium – Kid-friendly Las Vegas
3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas
While there is a cost to visiting this aquarium, you’ll get your moneys worth. Plan a couple hours to visit the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay. It has one of the largest tanks in North America, and features over 2,000 animals like sharks, turtles, rays, and exotic fish. Open daily 10am to 6pm (last entrance at 5pm). Get tickets here.

16. Circus Circus Adventuredome – things to do in Vegas with kids
The Adventuredome is quite a feat, fitting 5 acres of amusement rides inside. Play carnival type games, ride the carousel, go through a laser challenge, play in the arcade, watch clowns perform…OR thrill seekers can hop on a roller coaster.
